Yoga for Kids: Building Self-Image (Part 2)
There is much competition for everyone in this world. If you are a yoga teacher, you should not encourage competition within a Kids Yoga class. This is not easy to do. Each child wants praise, but this can be achieved by making your Yoga class to feed an event, where each child to participate, you may feel a sense of self-esteem.
This environment, which is designed by the yoga instructor, will develop the character the child "from scratch." Every child is unique and special in his or her way. Children have to learn to appreciate them as they are. Self-esteem can not be calculated by the ability of a single activity, and Yoga is the sum of many different activities within a particular class.
When I started teaching yoga to children, Vinyasa Yoga I began to integrate in the warming of our children's arts martial classes, some parents wondered why? Soon, some of the children, who had Attention deficit and attention problems became more focused to the rest of the class. However, other children, who regularly practiced Vinyasa Yoga heating, began to develop a more pronounced muscular appearance. This may be due to many factors, such as cross-training involved in practicing Vinyasa Yoga and martial arts on a regular basis – while many other children who attended these integrated classes, went home, did their homework, and slept better.
Over time, we have established a pure Kids Yoga class, and was scheduled between two classes of children martial arts. The children were excited and were parents, and still are, very supportive. In the above examples, different children learn differently benefited Yoga.
When children are learning yoga, also should be taught not comparing with other children in the class of Yoga. This is not easy for a yoga teacher to do, but achievable by teaching children to accept as they are, and actually taste better is good enough.
Regular attendance at children's yoga classes The key to getting rid of emotional baggage. Children should be taught to see themselves in a positive way, and the study of yoga can give any child self-empowerment. When children get together and participate in teaching yoga on a consistent basis, but also make new friends. Parents who send their children to study Yoga sincerely care.
Therefore, any child who learns yoga is surrounded by children of "related" to the parents. Yoga training for children is, in essence, a control environment – despite the creation of relaxing yoga classes.
