New to Yoga. Should I get a 1 / 2 "thick carpet?
I'm about 5'7 "and weighs about 200 pounds ….. I'm thinking of doing some yoga exercises in which it is incorporated into the routine. I have hardwood floors. Should I get a 1 / 2 "thick yoga mat if so I have to buy a special bag to put it on, as it would be thicker than a regular carpet or should I just got off somewhere when I'm using? Thx @ David …. so a "yes"?
I'd like a mat, not the one sold for yoga, but one of the sporting goods store for comfort, and some few pillows and a yoga brick. Also, do not sign a contract and do not let the teacher force you to do any position involving body work forward if you have a back injury. Therefore, I vote for a thicker, more padded mat, not the plane, less resilient, sell it as a mat yoga. Mina has elastic wrap and keep it easy to carry, but I could sew a carrier, if necessary. Good luck. Personally, I love the way Pilate classes. It makes me feel like a million dollars.
