Pilates / yoga during pregnancy?
I'm pretty good form. I am fairly active, but I do not really do pilates or yoga, because they tend to find boring. I continue to walk hours every day and so I have a toddler at home and that is an exercise in itself. I am looking for a pilates dvd I first I want something that will be very difficult for me. I would like pilates and yoga a try, but I've been reading the amazon reviews and I just do not know what to choose. My doctor gave the ok, I said while I'm lying on my back and I try either going to be fine. Any suggestion, in his opinion, which is better during pregnancy (For a beginner) pilates or yoga, and what I recommended videos. With my first I was pretty lucky to have a tight flat stomach after giving birth, but God knows what luck will run in this weather. Thanks Oh yeah, I'm 20 weeks today and also swim for exercise.
I have Prenatal Yoga ~ Shiva Rea and Pilates during pregnancy vol. 1 ~ Pecenka niece and I like both. I have done both yoga and Pilates before becoming pregnant, but just make films at home. It sounds as if a bit of an athlete as it is for what should have no problem finding out the movements in any of these. Yoga poses are really easy compared to my other DVD but is good for cut and stretch. Pilates is a bit more of a workout, but do not think it is strong at all. Both are divided into segments so you do not have to do all the sections to time. I've been doing for so long and now I'm 14wks 5wks. Good luck!
